Espai familiar (Family space)

The Family Space is an initiative aimed at helping families in energy poverty by providing them with access to services such as showers, washing machines, a snack area, and a homework space for children.

Who are we?

We live in a society where, theoretically, we enjoy a general state of well-being and access to all basic resources. However, this is not the case in all households, and there are still families in energy poverty who lack access to electricity or water, or do not have the necessary tools at home to do their laundry. The Family Space aims to be a small home for these families, where they can take showers, do their laundry, share a snack and conversation, and even provide a space for homework for the little ones.

What do we do?

Every Monday and Thursday afternoon, we open spaces for families in energy poverty to have a place for themselves:

  • Laundry
  • Showers
  • Snack
  • Homework space
  • Meeting and mutual support space.
