The resurrection of Jesus, which we Christians will celebrate in a few days, reminds us of the love and passion God has for each one of us.
That’s why the cross of Jesus, which led Him to death in order to rise again, built a bridge between us and God.
It's not about what we can do, but about what Christ has done for us on the cross. He died in our place, for our sin—turning our backs on God.
That’s why the gospel is good news: it speaks of God’s grace towards us. It's not about what you can do to be accepted by God, nor about what you’ve done that could make Him reject you. The cross means that, no matter who you are or what you’ve done, Jesus has built a bridge so that we can have a personal relationship with God—and one day rise again with Him.
I don’t know where you are in life right now, but I invite you to cross that bridge and enjoy a relationship with God.
"Only Jesus could build a bridge to heaven with just two pieces of wood."
