Statement from the Unida Evangelical Church of Terrassa Regarding the Indicting process for Abuse in the Church of Samaria

In light of reports about the alleged abuses committed in the Samaria community of Terrassa, the United Evangelical Church of Terrassa strongly condemns any form of abuse and completely dissociates itself from this community and the events attributed to it.

We want to make it clear that the events that occurred in the Samaria community do not represent the Protestant community of Terrassa, which has a century-long history of commitment to the city. Our church has always worked to promote respect, justice, and care for people, and today we firmly reaffirm these values.

Given the seriousness of the events, we stand in solidarity with those affected by the reported behaviors and reject any action that violates the Christian principles of love, respect, and dignity.

As part of Terrassa’s social fabric, we will continue to work with transparency and commitment to defend the rights and integrity of all people.

We reaffirm our commitment to a safe and respectful community and will continue promoting initiatives that benefit society as a whole.

We notify our participation in the case, through the Evangelical Council, by appearing as Popular Action in the ongoing judicial proceedings to defend the affected individuals who have filed the corresponding complaint.
