Service: 2nd Sunday of Advent

“Comfort, Promise, and Hope”

This is a series that invites us to prepare spiritually through the prophetic words of Isaiah and the opening chapters of Luke’s Gospel. Each Sunday we will discover how God works within human fragility to bring comfort, fulfill His promises, and awaken a renewed hope within us.

From the call to “comfort my people” (Isaiah 40) to the announcements that precede the birth of Jesus, we will learn to recognize God’s faithfulness—active even before we perceive it. During Advent, He invites us to wait with trust, to prepare our hearts, and to allow His Word to transform us.

This series accompanies us on the journey from comfort to the birth of the Savior, reminding us that Christian hope is not passive: it is an invitation to walk in the light, trust in His promises, and live with expectation for what God will do.
