Social Action
UNIDA aims to offer all the services and programs that can provide assistance, support, and guidance to individuals going through challenging personal or family situations, job losses, resource scarcity, old age, both within its own community and to the rest of society. We'll be here for whatever is needed!
As the area of social action within the United Evangelical Church of Terrassa, we are committed to the city and its needs.
What is our purpose?
- Responding to current social needs through empowerment.
- Supporting individuals in their life journey through autonomy and inclusion.
What do we do?
We have various projects:
- Family Space.
- Shower and laundry service for people facing energy poverty.
- Homework space.
- Catalan and Spanish language classes.
- Support groups.
- Sewing Workshop: A social space to foster connections among individuals, dialogue, and learn about sewing.
- Senior Space: Support group for individuals facing unwanted loneliness.
- La Llançadora
- Soon, we will have a new, vibrant social space that we are preparing together.

Missions
As a church family, we have the mission of expressing God's love for others by meeting their physical and spiritual needs. In a world full of poverty, racism, spiritual emptiness, illnesses, and natural disasters, we have the opportunity to reach out and lend a hand. This can be in your neighborhood, in your city, or anywhere in the world!

The Family Space is an initiative aimed at helping families in energy poverty by providing them with access to services such as showers, washing machines, a snack area, and a homework space for children.
